NRS-109 | Stock returns, pastures protection districts

Section 11 of the Pastures Protection Act, 1934-1964, requires the boards of pastures protection districts to prepare separate divisional rolls for each division, and where a district is not divided into divisions, a roll for the district as a whole. The returns, 1945-51, are summaries and show totals of sheep, cattle and horses in each district; the returns, 1956-59, are alphabetical lists of land holders, showing the name of holding, the area, and the number of sheep, cattle and horses in each case; the returns, 1960-74, are alphabetical lists of land holders showing address, property name, area of holding, agricultural land, grazing land, or other break-downs of land usage, numbers of horses, cattle, sheep, pigs and, sometimes, additional information such as leases. 1945-51, 1956-59 (7/99A-101), 1960-74 (10/29354-84). 36 boxes.
