Whole genome resequencing in mreB deletion strains

This project involves whole genome resequencing of mreB deletion and parental strains. The goal of this project was to determine whether the apparent suppression of lethality of mreB deletion in rich media by RpoB-P153L was due to secondary mutations in the genome. The conclusion was that there are no relevant second-site suppressors and that the suppression of lethality is due to RpoB-P153L .
