资源简介:
Understanding how the brain simultaneously processes different color information from the left and right eyes is an important topic in neuroscience research. Binocular collaboration involves advanced cognitive functions in the prefrontal cortex (PFC). Functional near-infrared spectroscopy (fNIRS) could be used to study the brain functions of the PFC during binocular color fusion and rivalry. This study designed two fNIRS experiments to explore the functional characteristics of the PFC with binocular color fusion and rivalry tasks. Experiment 1 employed long-duration (90 seconds) stimulation to evaluate brain functional connectivity strength through brain network analysis. Experiment 2 used short-duration (10 seconds) and repeated (8 trails) stimulation, analyzed with a generalized linear model (GLM) to assess the brain activation levels during binocular color fusion and rivalry, followed by a paired-sample t-test to identify significant differential channels between fusion and rivalry. For Experiment 1 and Experiment 2, the data format is .MAT, and these data need to be opened using the NirSpark software. In Experiment 1 and Experiment 2, marker 11 represents the moment when the binocular color fusion (FoRG) stimulus images are presented, and marker 12 represents the moment when the binocular color rivalry (RoRG) stimulus images are presented. In Experiment 2, marker 1 indicates the moment when the participant perceives the binocular color rivalry (RoRG) and makes a button press response.
