Global gene expression patterns were determined from NGS on hypertrophying tibialis anterior muscles after 2, 10, 20 and 30 days resistance training (1 hour post exercise) and control muscles. 4 Animals were used for each timepoint, comparing the stimulated (trained) left tibialis anterior muscle and the unstimulated (contralteral control) right tibialis anterior muscle.
