Management for Learning: Challenges in ECECs in Norway, 2017

The main question in the project "Management for Learning: Challenges in ECECs in Norway" has been: How have kindergartens' increased responsibility for children's learning been followed up and taken care of in various forms of governance and management in the kindergarten sector? The theoretical basis is theories of organization, management and leadership as well as learning. The background of this project is increased responsibility for children's learning in early childhood centers (ECCs). We have raised question about how this increased responsibility has been followed up and taken care of in various forms of governance and leadership in the field. The question has been illuminated by document analyzes and material collected through interviews and surveys for ECC directors and owners.

Two interview surveys were conducted with directors in three municipalities in different parts of the country and one county, as well as a survey in which 1310 directors from all over the country participated. The project has been a collaboration between Queen Maud University College of Early Childhood Education, University of Bergen and Nord University, as well as three municipalities.

本项目“学习管理：挪威幼儿教育中心（Early Childhood Education Centers, ECECs）”的核心研究问题为：挪威幼儿园在儿童学习领域的责任强化，是如何通过幼教行业内各类治理与管理形式得以落实与保障的？本项目的理论基础为组织理论、管理与领导力理论以及学习理论。本项目的研究背景为幼儿中心（Early Childhood Centers, ECCs）对儿童学习的责任有所提升，围绕该责任强化如何通过行业内各类治理与领导力形式得以落实与保障，本研究借助文献分析，以及面向幼儿教育中心园长与举办方的访谈和调研所收集的材料，对上述研究问题进行了阐释。研究团队针对该国不同地区的三个市镇与一个郡的园长开展了两次访谈调研，并面向全国范围内的1310名园长开展了问卷调查。本项目由挪威女王莫德幼儿教育大学学院（Queen Maud University College of Early Childhood Education）、卑尔根大学（University of Bergen）、挪威北方大学（Nord University），以及三家市镇合作开展。
