the floods in Rio Grande do Sul during 21th century

In Rio Grande do Sul, the floods are natural phenomena in the known population, in particular those that inhabit the valleys of major rivers in the State. The objective of this research concerned to identify the disturbed currents and weather types responsible for the genesis of floods in three Hidrographic Basins regions in the State, between the years 2000 and 2011. Methodology was applied based on the rhythm of Climate. Accordingly, it was observed that most of the flooding occurred due to climatic cycles in which there was the participation of the stationary front and cyclogenesis with time and types of fields inherent to such systems.

在巴西南里奥格兰德州（Rio Grande do Sul），洪水是该州频发的自然现象，尤其对栖息于该州主要河流河谷的人群影响显著。本研究旨在识别2000年至2011年间，该州三个水文流域（Hidrographic Basins）区域内引发洪水的扰动气流与天气类型。本研究采用基于气候节律的分析方法。研究结果表明，绝大多数洪水事件均发生于特定气候周期中，此类周期伴随静止锋（stationary front）与气旋生成（cyclogenesis）过程，且具备该类系统固有的时间特征与流场类型。
