Sequence of the cos-npt region of pVK100. Cloning vector pVK100

pVK100 is a cosmid vector, derived from the IncP-alpha broad host vector pRK290, has been widely used for the construction of cosmid gene banks from Gram-negative bacteria. However, the nucleic acid sequences flanking the ClaI site which usually contains the chromosomal insert, has never been deposited in the data base. This region, present on an EcoRI-SalI fragment which also contains the cos site has been deposited here.
