Lamiaceae in Rio Grande do Norte, Brazil

Abstract This study consists of the floristic survey and taxonomic treatment of the species of Lamiaceae found in the state of Rio Grande do Norte, Brazil. Thirty species were recorded in 19 genera of Lamiaceae, of which 16 species and 13 genera are native to Brazil and the remaining taxa adventive, either established or under cultivation. Characters such as inflorescence, bracts, calyx and corolla were important to differentiate the species found. This paper provides an identification key to the native species, morphological descriptions, illustrations, photographs and information regarding species distribution and phenology for the native species occurring in the state.

摘要 本研究针对巴西里奥格兰德州（Rio Grande do Norte）分布的唇形科（Lamiaceae）植物类群开展系统的植物区系调查与分类学处理。本次调查共记录到唇形科19属共计30个物种，其中16种、13属为巴西本土原生类群，剩余类群均为外来归化类群或处于栽培状态的类群。花序、苞片、花萼及花冠等形态特征，为区分本次调查所获物种提供了关键分类依据。本论文为该州境内的本土唇形科物种编制了鉴定检索表，同时提供了物种形态描述、图解资料、实拍照片，以及相关物种的分布与物候学信息。
