Based on observational data from over 1,000 global sites, a global gridded dataset of soil respiration, belowground heterotrophic respiration and autotrophic respiration in global terrestrial ecosystems was generated using the random forest model. The dataset has a spatial resolution of 0.5 degrees, with a unit of gC/m² and is stored in NetCDF format.
