The purpose of this Systematic Review is to analysis the estimated population size of mosquitoes in their specific habitats on a global. I chose this topic because mosquitoes are found in a large portion of the globe and are well known as a disease carrying organisms and a common nuisance around the world. A better understanding of their populations around the world could give us insight to the amount of disease carrying organisms that are present. This meta analysis will begin with 112 papers that were filtered with the following key words: mosquito*, population, mark-release-recapture. This Systematic review will be accumulating data on the following variables: Population, Country of Study, Latitude & Longitude of Study, Common and Latin names of mosquito species, Taxa, Richness, Diversity, Number of Major and Minor Site, Macro and Micro habitats and Hypotheses.
