Garnet-staurolite-mica schist from Eastern Fold Belt, Mount Isa, Queensland, Australia. Was considered for the same publication as sample W-11, but was ultimately left out. Microstructural details have been published in Sayab, M. 2005. Microstructural Evidence for N-S Shortening in the Mount Isa Inlier (NW Queensland, Australia): the Preservation of Early W-E Trending Foliations in Porphyroblasts Revealed by Independent 3D Measurement Techniques.
