Vor dem Hintergrund empirischer Untersuchungen zur Wirkung und Akzeptanz von Supervison im Feld sozialgerontologischer Arbeit, in denen die Feld- und Fachkompetenz der dort arbeitenden Supervisoren bemängelt wird, wird die Position vertreten: Für diesen Bereich sind spezialisierte SupervisorInnenausbildungen erforderlich. Ein solches, empirisch gut evaluiertes Modell wird vorgestellt, in dem allgemeinsupervisorisches Wissen und sozialgerontologisches Fachwissen integriert vermittelt werden. On the ground of empirical research concerning the efficacy and the acceptance of supervision in the field of social gerontological practice, that shows that field competence and discipline expertise of the supervisors working there are critizised, the following position is advocated: For this field specialized training programmes for supervisors are needed.
