SDG 4.2.2 Participation Rate in Organized Learning One Year Before the Official Primary Entry Age by Gender

This dataset shows the participation rate in organized learning for children one year before the official primary school entry age in the State of Qatar, broken down by gender, over the period from 2001 to 2024. Organized learning covers early childhood education and primary education programmes that follow a structured curriculum. The rate expresses the number of children of that age who take part in such programmes as a percentage of all children of the same age. A higher rate means that more children are prepared for primary school, and the breakdown by gender allows the gap between boys and girls to be followed over time. The dataset presents the rate for males and females separately; the combined figure for both sexes is not included.
