Abstract: Introduction: Medical education in Brazil is going through a time of great transformation that requires adaptations and new teaching models. Given the speed with which new information in the health area is produced, the incorporation of digital technologies in educational practice becomes essential, enabling virtual interaction and access to remote databases. The association between digital technologies and active methodologies, which promote student autonomy and the development of critical-reflective thinking, entails new challenges in education. This essay analyzes the use of digital technologies in medical and health education, highlighting their association with the main forms of active methodologies and the challenges of remote education, in the context of the Covid-19 pandemic. Development: Due to social distancing measures and the interruption of in-person educational activities, educational institutions have experienced drastic changes with the need for rapid adaptation to mitigate the impacts of the pandemic on education. The use of digital tools such as virtual platforms and remote access (synchronous and asynchronous) were widely used strategies. Potential challenges in the association between active methodologies and remote learning were investigated to problematize the educational process during the pandemic. Conclusion: The Covid-19 pandemic highlighted the need for innovation in teaching-learning methods and accelerated the use and adaptation to digital technologies. The association of these technologies with active methodologies has become a new challenge for teachers and students and further studies are required on the effectiveness and implications of remote learning for the training of future health professionals.

摘要: 引言:巴西医学教育正经历深刻变革,亟需开展适配调整并探索新型教学模式。伴随健康领域新信息的产出速度不断加快,将数字技术融入教育实践已成为必然要求,其可实现虚拟交互与远程数据库访问。而数字技术与以培育学生自主性、发展批判性反思思维为目标的主动教学法相结合,亦为教育领域带来了全新挑战。本文针对数字技术在医学与健康教育中的应用展开分析,重点探讨其与主流主动教学法的结合形式,并剖析新冠疫情(COVID-19)背景下远程教育面临的挑战。 研究内容:受社交距离管控措施与线下教育活动暂停的影响,各教育机构不得不迅速开展大幅调整,以缓解疫情对教育领域造成的冲击。虚拟平台、同步与异步远程访问等数字工具由此得到了广泛应用。本研究针对主动教学法与远程学习结合过程中的潜在挑战展开调研,旨在对疫情期间的教育实践进行问题化探析。 结论:新冠疫情凸显了教学方法创新的迫切需求,亦加速了数字技术的应用与适配进程。此类技术与主动教学法的结合,成为师生共同面临的全新挑战;未来仍需开展更多研究,以明确远程学习对未来医疗卫生专业人才培养的有效性与深远影响。
