RNA-seq uncovered estrogenic regulation of the transcriptome of arcuate nucleus and KNDy neurons of arcuate nucleus in mouse

Young cycling female mice were ovariectomized and treated with silastic capsules containing vehicle or estradiol. 4 days later animals were terminated. Arcuate nuclei were dissected from crezyl violet stained sections by laser-capture microdissection. Young cycling KP-Cre/ZsGreen transgenic mice were ovariectomized and treated with silastic capsules containing vehicle or estradiol. 4 days later animals were terminated. KNDy neurons were dissected by laser-capture microdissection.
