Supplementary dataset on Omega-3–rich fish consumption, activity patterns and cardiac outcomes in athletes
收藏资源简介:
Supplementary Tables Supplementary Table S1. Complete list of all assessed participants (n = 120), with reasons for exclusion and numbers who declined participation; dates of screening. Supplementary Table S2. Baseline descriptors by group (n, mean ± SD or median [IQR]) including ethnicity, education, BMI, body composition (if measured), months of training history, sport subdiscipline, smoking/alcohol status, and usual supplement use. Supplementary Table S3. A 3-day mean energy and macronutrient intakes (kcal, g protein/kg, % energy from fat/carbohydrate), omega-3 estimated intake (EPA + DHA mg/day), and weekly fish servings from food diaries and 24-h recalls. Supplementary Table S4. Compliance logs (number of supervised fish meals consumed per participant), random urine/plasma omega-3 index or fatty-acid percentages at baseline, week 6, week 12, and correlation with reported intake. Supplementary Table S5. Weekly training hours, session RPE × duration (sRPE) totals, and any competition dates; reported as weekly means and within-subject ranges. Supplementary Table S6. Side-by-side point estimates (mean change ± SD), group differences, 95% CI, and p-values for ITT and per-protocol populations for the primary outcomes (steps/day, MVPA, RMSSD). Supplementary Table S7. All adverse events (AEs) and serious adverse events (SAEs) by group with onset date, severity, relation to intervention, and action taken. Supplementary Table S8. Calculations, assumptions (effect size, SD, alpha, power), and alternative scenarios that informed recruitment target.
