Primarily focused on research into the communication mechanisms of international sporting events, this dataset sorts out literature and key events attracting media attention for communication effect analysis of all Summer and Winter Olympic Games since the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games, and constructs an international event communication case database. The database includes 644 entries covering various typical international communication events and crises, and is mainly used for the construction and validation of international communication models.
