The microbiome of the main deep-water scleractinian reef-framework engineers from the Southwestern Atlantic

Using samples from the four deep-water reef framework species (i.e., D. pertusum, S. variabilis, M. oculata, and E. rostrata) from three sedimentary basins (BC, BES, and BS)off the Southeastern coast of Brazil, we tested for potential environmental influences on their respective microbiome composition.
