Images and CAD from an Earthwork Survey at Hope Limestone Quarry, Castleton, Derbyshire, February 2023

This digital archive comprises images and CAD data from archaeological earthworks survey on land near Hope Limestone Quarry, Derbyshire. The work was undertaken by Archaeological Research Services Ltd, commissioned by Breedon Cement. The survey was carried out over one day (24th February 2023). It identified four main groups of features: a limestone kiln with associated limestone quarry, a possible backfilled lead rake and a quarry containing structural remains.
