This data set describes measurements of dural diameter and dorsal contrast column height in 22 horses at five cervicocervical articulations (C2-3, C3-4, C4-5, C5-6 and C6-7) in three neck positions (neutral, flexed, extended) derived from radiographic myelography with measurements made independently by three masked observers (EM, LN, DE listed above). It also describes changes in articular process joint height and area from before to years after surgery in nine horses at a total of 13 operated sites. This data was collected to determine how well the two measures correlated with each other, and with historically operated surgical sites in these horses. In addition, to determine if surgery generated any substantial reduction in articular process joint height and area on radiographs obtained many years after surgery in nine horses.
