Genome sequence of Xenorhabdus bovienii from Steinernema jollieti obtained from Monsanto Company isolate 2007. Xenorhabdus bovienii str. Jollieti isolate:Monsanto 2007

We isolated the bacterial symbiont of Steinernema jollieti nematodes, which were originally obtained from Monsanto Company. This is bacterial strain, which was isolated in 2007. We confirmed the bacterium as Xenorhabdus bovienii by 16S and recA sequences. We sequenced the genome using Illumina paired-end reads and assembled the reads in VELVET. The genomes were annotated by MaGe (https://www.genoscope.cns.fr/agc/microscope/home/index.php).
