资源简介:
These data contain field and analytical data used to evaluate the effects of applying non‑toxic oil to common raven (Corvus corax) eggs on both raven reproductive success and demographic responses of co‑occurring greater sage-grouse (Centrocercus urophasianus) populations across sagebrush ecosystems in Nevada and California. Data include: (1) Raven nest monitoring data (nest locations, treatment type, clutch size, fate, egg hatch outcomes) collected during 2019 and 2021 oiling years and from control/sham nests; (2) Sage-grouse demographic data (nest monitoring, telemetry relocations, chick survival, brood monitoring, adult and yearling survival, and lek count observations) collected from 2016-2023; (3) Raven point‑count survey data (time intervals, distances, environmental covariates, and detection parameters) used in hierarchical distance‑sampling models; (4) Integrated population model (IPM) inputs and outputs, including nest survival, survival parameters, recruitment elements, and annual abundance (N) and growth rate (λ) estimates; and (5) Relevant spatial covariates and survey metadata used in all analyses. These datasets support Before-After-Control-Impact (BACI) analyses evaluating how egg‑oiling influences raven nest success, raven densities, sage-grouse nest survival, and sage-grouse population growth. Location and information has been redacted from datasets due to its sensitive and proprietary nature.
