The Field Book index cards record the field book numbers, areas and surveyor. They were used to access field books relating to sewerage and water facilities in Newcastle and the surrounding district for the period 1890 to 1931. The index cards are arranged by suburb with sub-sections for detailed, standard and skeleton surveys; drawings and tracings; level books. Not all sections contain index cards.
