Columbia River at Golden Airport

The Columbia Shuswap Invasive Species Society (CSISS) collects plankton samples for several waterbodies in the Northern Columbia Basin which are tested for the presence of larval stages of invasive mussels and clams. Along with the plankton samples, ancillary data including surface pH, surface temperature and Secchi depth are measured. Data is collected from July to September, either every 2 weeks or every month (depending on the waterbody’s risk of infestation).

哥伦比亚舒斯瓦普入侵物种协会（Columbia Shuswap Invasive Species Society, CSISS）针对北哥伦比亚盆地的多个水体采集浮游生物样本，并对样本开展检测以排查入侵贻贝与蛤蜊的幼虫阶段。除浮游生物样本外，该团队还同步采集辅助数据，包括水体表层pH值、表层水温以及塞氏深度（Secchi depth）。数据采集时段为7月至9月，采样频率为每2周或每月1次，具体频率取决于对应水体的入侵定植风险等级。
