National Seashore and Estuary CBA Map

This dataset is the first version of a national CBA Map developed for the South African seashore (backshore and shore) and estuaries, aiming to align land-based and marine CBA Maps at the land-sea (including estuaries) interface. It was developed by doing cross-realm biodiversity planning for the coastal zone (using Marxan), extracting the seashore and estuaries, and systematically allocating areas to the different CBA Map categories. Because this is the first time this product has been developed, it is provided as a beta version for testing by biodiversity planners in South Africa.

本数据集为针对南非海岸（后滩与潮间带）及河口开发的首版国家CBA地图（CBA Map），旨在统一海陆（含河口）交界地带的陆地与海洋CBA地图标准。本数据集通过对海岸带开展跨域生物多样性规划（采用Marxan软件）、提取海岸与河口区域，并将各区域系统分配至不同CBA地图类别中完成开发。鉴于该产品为首次研发，故以测试版形式提供给南非生物多样性规划人员开展测试工作。
