Analysis data for "Synthetic controls underestimate deforestation in high-loss tropical forests"
收藏资源简介:
Overview This record contains data required to reproduce the analysis and figures for the submitted study "Synthetic controls underestimate deforestation in high-loss tropical forests" by Guy A. Lomax, Andrew M. Cunliffe, Hugh A. Graham, Christopher D. Philipson, Ted R. Feldpausch, Emily Doyle, Jessica P. Thomas, Edward T. A. Mitchard, and David F.R.P. Burslem. Folder descriptions The dataset contains two data folders: country_polygon_data.zip - .rds files containing vector data of aggregated annual forest loss and covariate data for donor and placebo project polygons for each study country, polygon size and modelled start year (four files per country). These files are the outputs of the script 1_prepare_data.R and are used for the core analysis (estimation of synthetic controls) in the scripts 2_fit_synthetic_controls.R and 3_covariate_weights.R. synthetic_control_results.zip - .csv files containing output time series of both observed loss rates and fitted synthetic control loss rates for placebo project polygons for each study country, polygon size and modelled start year. These files are the outputs of the script 2_fit_synthetic_controls.R and form the main input to script 4_generate_plots.R. sc_fits.zip - .rds files containing the fitted augsynth objects containing the full parameters and donor weights of synthetic controls fitted for placebo project polygons for each study country, polygon size and modelled start year. These files are used to generate Extended Data Figure 1.
