EA-OWT

This dataset includes complete annual records from 2019 to 2024 and the latest data as of September 2025, covering the entire East Asian maritime region. By constructing an independent validation dataset using high-resolution Google imagery, multi-source optical and radar imagery, and commercial datasets, and conducting accuracy assessments, the validation results show that the dataset achieves both an accuracy and recall rate of 99.96%, outperforming existing open-source datasets (such as GOWT and DeepOWT). Furthermore, the dataset associates key physical attributes—such as model, rated capacity, and rotor diameter—with each wind turbine location, transforming EA-OWT from a simple location-based layer into an attribute database with significant potential for in-depth applications. It provides critical data support for spatiotemporal monitoring, environmental assessment, and planning studies of offshore wind power in East Asia.
