We compared the transcriptomes of control and YAP/TAZ knockout gliomaspheres derived from mouse newborn astrocytes transformed with KRAS/shp53. We wanted to evaluate the effects of YAP/TAZ depletion on gliomaspheres transcriptional program. Overall design: Gliomaspheres were obtained by transforming R26CagCreER;Yapf/f;Tazf/f mouse astrocyte with KRasG12V/shp53. Spheres were treated with 4OH TAM to promote YAP/TAZ knockout or left untreated. After 1 week, gliomaspheres were harvested for RNA extraction; RNA was then used for polyA RNA-sequencing.
