Transgenic UBC-GFP Zebra finch Genome

Here we provide the sequenced genome of a transgenic UBC-GFP zebra finch strain produced originally in Agate et al. 2009 (https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC2764872/). The sample genome was aligned to both a reference zebra finch genome (https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/datasets/genome/GCF_008822105.2/) and a reference plasmid genome including the transgene (https://www.addgene.org/14883/). This data was used to determine the site of transgene insertion (Chromosome 9, NC_045008.117066610 - NC_045008.1:17066705).
