基于地转流异常的南海涡动能填色图叠加地转流异常矢量及初步识别的中尺度涡边界图中取对数的地转涡动能（颜色）叠加地转流异常矢量箭头。灰色细线标识南海等深线（同上图）。粗黑实线标示反气旋涡，粗黑虚线标示气旋涡。
The visualization displays a color-filled map of South China Sea (SCS) eddy kinetic energy (EKE) derived from geostrophic current anomalies, with the color scale representing logarithmically transformed geostrophic eddy kinetic energy, overlaid with geostrophic current anomaly vector arrows and preliminarily identified mesoscale eddy boundaries. Thin gray lines mark the SCS bathymetric contours (identical to the preceding figure). Thick solid black lines denote anticyclonic eddies, whereas thick dashed black lines denote cyclonic eddies.
