DRFT04RR Drift Cruise Expedition Leg 04 - Cruise Report. In Data from Scripps Research Expeditions 1953-2005

The overall goal of the project is to identify the tectonic and magmatic processes responsible for the earliest submarine phases of galapagos volcanism, and to compare the geochemistry of submarine lavas with that of the previously sampled subaerial lavas from both islands, and also from other oceanic islands such as hawaii.

本项目的总体目标为明确驱动加拉帕戈斯火山活动最早海底喷发阶段的构造与岩浆作用过程，并将海底熔岩（submarine lavas）的地球化学特征，与此前在该群岛两个岛屿以及夏威夷等其他大洋岛屿采集的陆上熔岩（subaerial lavas）的地球化学特征进行对比。
