We report the application of next generation sequencing (RNA-seq) to characterize the transcriptome of different types of hematopoeitic stem cells and progenitor cells in bone marrow of healthy and spondyloarthritic mice. Overall design: Characterization of FACS sorted long term hematopoietic stem cells (LT-HSC) , short term hematopoietic stem cells (ST-HSC) and multipotent progenitor cells (MPP) from bone marrow of healthy and spondyloarthritic mice. Three separate experiments were performed. LT-HSC were characterized as Lineage-ve, c-Kit+ve, Sca-1+ve, CD34-ve, CD150+ve, CD48-ve. ST-HSC were characterized as Lineage-ve, c-Kit+ve, Sca-1+ve, CD34+ve, CD150+ve. MPP were characterized as Lineage-ve, c-Kit+ve, Sca-1+ve, CD34+ve, CD150-ve, CD48+ve
