Transcriptome analysis of mitochondrial genes and ORFs in Solanum lycopersicum cv. Micro-Tom

This project explores the mitochondrial transcriptome of Solanum lycopersicum cv. Micro-Tom.RNA-seq data obtained from four tissues (leaf, flower, root, and fruit) were used to identify expressed mitochondrial genes and uncharacterized open reading frames (ORFs).The analysis focuses on determining transcriptional activity across the mitochondrial genome and evaluating the potential functionality of previously unannotated ORFs in tomato mitochondria.
