Rethinking the debate on migration and development: new evidence and directions

Abstract This paper aims to assess the links between international migration and development, taking in to account the complexity of this phenomenon and its new features. In reviewing specialized literature, understudied migratory flows such us South-South, North-South and North-North migration will be analysed. Phenomenas with increased importance such us refuge, climate change, transit migration and the influence of displacement upon happiness and well-being of migrants will also be considered.

摘要 本文旨在探究国际移民与发展之间的内在关联，同时充分考量这一复杂社会现象的多维属性与新兴特征。在系统梳理相关专业文献的基础上，本文将对既往研究覆盖不足的移民流动类型展开剖析，涵盖南南移民、南北移民与北北移民等类别。此外，诸如庇护移民、气候变化相关迁移、过境移民，以及流离失所对移民幸福感与福祉的影响等愈发受到学界关注的议题，也将被纳入本文的研究范畴。
