In 1940 the Touring published a guide entirely dedicated to Puglia which, in addition to pointing out various historical, geographical, economic, artistic and social aspects, highlighted the transformations that the region had undergone with the reclamation of the Tavoliere and the conclusion of the works for the Apulian Aqueduct.
