This invention proposes a system for improving pollination efficiency of plant populations, which comprises an auxiliary support and an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV).
The auxiliary support includes a vertical column and a branch frame. The branch frame consists of a connecting rod and a flower basket. One end of the connecting rod is connected to the vertical column via screws with an adjustable connection angle, and the other end is connected to the flower basket (a secondary connecting rod can be installed on the connecting rod according to actual needs). A flower basket signal transceiver component is disposed at the bottom of the flower basket. The height of the vertical column and the length of the branch frame are adjustable.
The unmanned aerial vehicle is equipped with a battery slot, a distance sensing component, a fan, a pollen collection sac, and a UAV signal transceiver component. The distance sensing component is attached to the fan. The pollen collection sac is connected to the fan. The UAV signal transceiver component establishes wireless communication with the flower basket signal transceiver component.
This invention further proposes a method for improving pollination efficiency of plant populations, which can comprehensively and effectively enhance the pollination efficiency of such plant populations.
