Data of Nutrition Knowledge in a Sample of College Students in Jordan: Exploratory and Replication Studies

Background: Information about nutrition knowledge in college students is scarce. Therefore, the aim of this research to document nutrition knowledge in a sample of students from the University of Jordan in Amman using an Arabic index.
Methods: An exploratory pilot and replication studies were conducted. The pilot study developed and validated an Arabic Nutrition Knowledge Index (ANKI) in 122 students (aged ≥ 18 years) from the University ofJordan. In the replication study, the demographics scale and the validated ANKI were administered to 470 students from the same institution.
