资源简介:
This project aims to restore the Wetlands Centre to pre-storm condition and make it safe for the public and volunteers by:
(i) removing fallen trees from near paths and in bush to avoid risk to people and use the fallen trees to create habitat for wildlife;
(ii) repairing 1km of paths with erosion damage;
(iii) revegetating and regenerating areas damaged by the storm;
(iv) repairing damaged stormwater drains by replacing rocks that were displaced, fixing a 2m long walking bridge that was destroyed, adding geotech or something similar, and revegetating with Lomandra, Dianellas, Melaleucas, Casuarinas, native grasses and sedges;
(v) repairing predator-proof fence, auditing 3.6km of the fence, and removing vegetation along the fence; and
(vi) repairing and maintaining 200m of boardwalk that received flood damage.
本项目旨在将湿地中心(Wetlands Centre)恢复至风暴灾害前的状态,并确保其对公众及志愿者的使用安全,具体实施措施如下:
(i) 清除步道周边及灌丛中的倒伏树木,一方面规避人员安全风险,另一方面利用这些倒伏树木为野生动物构筑栖息生境;
(ii) 修复总长1公里的受侵蚀损坏步道;
(iii) 对受风暴破坏的区域开展植被恢复与生态再生工作;
(iv) 修复受损的雨水排水设施:更换移位的石块,修复被毁的2米长步行桥,加装岩土工程(geotech)类加固材料,并以香根草属(Lomandra)、萱草属(Dianellas)、白千层属(Melaleucas)、木麻黄属(Casuarinas)植物,以及原生禾草和莎草科植物进行植被修复;
(v) 修复防捕食者围栏,对总长3.6公里的围栏开展审计工作,并清除围栏沿线的植被;
(vi) 修复并维护200米受洪水损坏的木板栈道。
