This repository contains the processed data, geospatial boundary files, analysis scripts, moisture-tracking results, PCMCI+ input and output data, and figure-supporting materials associated with the manuscript “Remote Moisture Deficits and Deep Tropospheric Subsidence Drove the Unprecedented 2022 Yangtze Flash Drought.” The archived materials include total-column-water processing, pressure-coordinate vertical-velocity processing, vertically integrated moisture-flux calculations, WAM-2layers moisture-source attribution results, external and internal moisture-source region calculations, area-weighted moisture-source results, top-1-m soil moisture percentile calculations, and PCMCI+ conditional-dependence results. The 1991–2020 period was used as the climatological baseline, and June–August 2022 was analyzed as the event period. Original ERA5 and ERA5-Land datasets are not redistributed in full and should be obtained from the Copernicus Climate Data Store. Detailed descriptions of the archived files, software dependencies, variables, and analysis procedures are provided in README.txt. The files are temporarily restricted during manuscript peer review. Access is provided to editors and reviewers through a confidential Zenodo access link. The files will be made publicly accessible upon manuscript acceptance.
