Effect of controlled promoter and terminator recombination in S. cerevisiae using GEMbLeR

We developed a genetic construct for in vivo expression diversification in S. cerevisiae using inducible, site-specific Cre recombination. We evaluated the effect of recombination at one genomic locus for different layouts of the genetic construct using Sanger sequencing. We also evaluated the effect of induction of recombination at six distinct genomic loci using Nanopore sequencing and compared this to a non-inducible control group.
