Non-directional wave data collected to provide baseline measurements for nearshore Hawaiian water circulation studies, June - September 2003 (NODC Accession 0012788)

The US Geological Survey (USGS) Western Region Coastal and Marine Geology Team deployed National Institute of Water and Atmospheric Research, New Zealand (NIWA) Dobie-A non-directional wave gauges in 5 near-shore areas of western Maui during summer 2003 in depths less than 11 m. It also provides tidal heights, although they are not linked to a shore-based datum. Finalized data are provided in ASCII format.

美国地质调查局（US Geological Survey, USGS）西部海岸与海洋地质工作组于2003年夏季，在毛伊岛西部5处水深小于11米的近岸区域，部署了新西兰国家水与大气研究所（National Institute of Water and Atmospheric Research, NIWA）研制的多比-A（Dobie-A）型无方向波浪仪。该数据集同时提供潮高数据，但此类潮高未与岸基基准面关联。最终数据以ASCII格式提供。
