资源简介:
The objective of this experiment is to investigate the effect of herbs added to the diet on the meat quality, slaughter performance and intestinal flora of White hungary geese. 60 healthy 0-day-old White hungary geese were randomly selected and divided into two groups of 30 geese each. On postnatal days 0-42, the herbal complex supplement (HS) group added 0.2% of herbal compound additive A to the basal diet, and on postnatal days 43-70, 0.15% of herbal compound additive B was added. The control group was fed the whole basic diet. The experimental results show that the slaughter performance of White hungary geese was improved in the HS group than in the control group (P>05). The meat quality of breast muscle in the HS increased (P>0.05). We observed a noticeable increase in carbohydrate content (P 0.05) higher in the HS group of 70-day-old geese. The addition of Chinese herbs to the diet significantly improved the structure of the intestinal flora, showing an increase in beneficial bacteria and a decrease in pathogenic bacteria. 4. To sum up, in general, herbal additives maybe have the function of improving the carcass traits, meat quality, immunity and intestinal flora composition of White hungary geese.
