This series contains bound copies of decrees nisi granted. It includes both lists of divorces made absolute and 'Memorandum of decree nisi having become absolute' which are the copies of the Decree absolute, with one case per page.Lists include date decree nisi made absolute, names of parties, date and place of marriage.The Memorandum form includes: names of the parties; case number and year; date of the decree nisi; date of the order under section 71; date of determination or discontinuance of appeal (if applicable); date of the order under sub-section (3.) of section 72; date on which intervention determined (if applicable); date and place of the marriage; date made absolute; and cause (such as Desertion, Separation, Adultery or Cruelty) under the (Commonwealth) Matrimonial Causes Act 1959 as amended.
