沉积物的采集采用直径为20.5cm的筒状简易沉积物捕集器,自1997年7-12月间在冰下水柱上、下两层布设(30/41m和140m)。样品的回收间隔为6-44天。样品用330um的筛绢过滤以去除大型浮游动物和颗粒物。用旋转分样器分样。在Zeiss AXIOSKOP 50 型光学显微镜下进行计数。采集相关数据的主要目的是了解中山站近岸冰下硅藻通量的季节变化,以及与冰藻类群的相关性和对POC通量的贡献。

Sediments were collected using a simple cylindrical sediment trap with a diameter of 20.5 cm, which was deployed at two layers (30/41 m and 140 m) of the sub-ice water column from July to December 1997. The interval between sample recoveries was 6 to 44 days. Samples were filtered through a 330 μm sieve mesh to remove large zooplankton and particulate matter, then split using a rotary sample splitter. Diatom counts were conducted under a Zeiss AXIOSKOP 50 optical microscope. The primary objective of this data collection was to investigate the seasonal variation of sub-ice diatom flux near Zhongshan Station, its correlation with ice algal assemblages, and its contribution to POC flux. This dataset comprises analysis data of sub-ice diatom flux in Narra Bay from the 13th Chinese National Antarctic Research Expedition, including diatom species and flux data.
