Data underlying the research of: Influence of the manner of water discharge from dam reservoirs on downstream water quality

The data presented are the results of the research focuses on the key challenges for sustainable use of water resources in the world. For this purpose, the following were analyzed, the most relevant issues (from an economic and ecological point of view) for proper environmental management are analyzed, such as: - transport and fate of pollutants in the aquatic environment, - identification of effective actions to prevent the negative effects of commonly occurring pollutants in aquatic ecosystems.
