The 50 ha plot at Barro Colorado Island has 6 completed censuses: 1981-83, 1985, 1990,
1995, 2000, 2005. All trees >=10 mm diameter at breast height were tagged, measured, mapped and identified to species. This site forms part of the Center for Tropical Forest Science (CTFS) network of large tropical forest plots in 14 countries, most ranging from 16 to 52 hectares.
