Australian Media Portrayals of Murder-Suicide Involving Children and Families

The data set includes 5 spreadsheets referred to in the thesis as 'datasheets' and identified as Datasheets 1 -5. This data relates to Australian newspaper articles (594) and free to air news media broadcasts (98) published or aired between 2012-2019. It was collected from UNE library data bases but is otherwise publicly available material. A description of the data contained within each datasheet is is contained each datasheet. Datasheets 1, 3 and 4 are large and are published in the thesis document as a summary of fields. The complete set of data for these 3 datasheets are available in Excel. Datasheets 2 and 5 are published in the thesis.

本数据集包含5份电子表格，本文中将其称为「数据表（datasheets）」，编号为数据表1至5。该数据集涵盖2012年至2019年间发布或播出的594篇澳大利亚报纸文章与98档免费广播电视新闻节目素材。其采集自新英格兰大学（University of New England, UNE）图书馆数据库，相关素材本身均为公开可获取的内容。各数据表所包含的数据集的具体说明，均收录于各数据表自身当中。数据表1、3与4体量较大，本论文中仅收录其字段摘要；上述三份数据表的完整数据集均以Excel格式提供。数据表2与5的完整内容已收录于本论文之中。
