Managerial Responses to Negative Hotel Reviews

This repository contains metadata related to a specialised corpus of hotel management responses to online guest reviews collected from the Tripadvisor platform. The corpus was compiled for comparative linguistic and discourse analysis of responses written by hotel representatives in Serbian and British urban tourism contexts. The dataset consists of two comparable sub-corpora: SrbMRs (responses from hotels located in Serbia (Belgrade, Novi Sad, and Niš) and UKMRs (responses from hotels located in London, United Kingdom). The dataset includes responses from 3-star, 4-star, and 5-star hotels and was designed to ensure comparability in terms of response type, hotel category, and sample size. Due to copyright restrictions and Tripadvisor’s Terms of Service, the original textual data are not publicly redistributed.
