Total height and total dry mass of all live and dead stems of Spartina alterniflora were determined from one plot and individual stem heights from two additional plots at seven Louisiana salt marshes. Sampling began in May 2013 at two marshes in Cocodrie, LA (Louisiana Universities Marine Consortium-LUMCON) and in two regions of Terrebonne Bay: Bay LaFleur and Lake Barre. A third LUMCON area marsh was added in June 2014. All LUMCON sites were sampled monthly through 2014 whereas the 4 Terrebonne Bay marshes were sampled less frequently. 本数据集针对路易斯安那州7处盐沼开展采样分析:于一处样地中测定互花米草(Spartina alterniflora)全部存活与枯亡茎秆的总高度及总干重,并在另外两处样地中测定单株茎秆的高度。采样工作于2013年5月正式启动,首批采样覆盖路易斯安那州科科德里的两处盐沼(隶属于路易斯安那大学海洋联盟(LUMCON))以及特雷邦湾的两处区域——拉弗勒尔湾与巴雷湖。2014年6月新增一处LUMCON所属盐沼样地。2014年全年,所有LUMCON样地均按月进行采样,而特雷邦湾的4处盐沼采样频率相对更低。本数据集已应用于以下已发表文献:Hill T.D.与Roberts B.J.于2017年发表于《生态学与进化(Ecology and Evolution)》第7卷第22期的论文《季节动态与环境梯度对互花米草异速生长及初级生产力的影响》,文献页码范围为9676-9688,DOI为10.1002/ece3.3494。
