List of multinational publishers of serial publications established by the ISSN Network (PDF format)

The ISSN International Centre and the ISSN Network of nearly 100 national centres around the world are authorized by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) to implement serial identification according to the terms of ISO3297:2022 standard. The ISSN Network serves publishers who wish to uniquely identify their serial publications. These publishers contact the National Centres of the countries where they are located. When there is no national centre, they contact the ISSN International Centre. The place of publication determines the ISSN Centre responsible for identification. However, when a publisher operates in several countries, an agreement may be reached between this multinational publisher and the involved ISSN Centres so that all requests for identification are handled by one centre. The following list identifies more than 300 multinational publishers. These publishers have been identified through the ISSN Portal (https://portal.issn.org) data. The ISSN International Centre works with the National Centres on this list of publishers to determine their responsibility for identifying the publications of these publishers. The list also contains information on the names by which these publishers are known and a mapping of links between publishers. It also contains a link to the ISNI and VIAF databases in which these publishers are also recorded. This data is managed by the ISSN Network in an internal wiki that will be updated regularly. The ISSN Network makes this list available to the publishing community and to librarians. They can contact the ISSN International Centre to share comments (additions, modifications, deletions) on this list which will be published quarterly.

国际标准连续出版物编号（International Standard Serial Number，简称ISSN）国际中心与全球近100个国家中心组成的ISSN网络，获国际标准化组织（ISO，International Organization for Standardization）授权，依据ISO3297:2022标准条款开展连续出版物识别工作。ISSN网络为希望为其连续出版物申请唯一标识的出版机构提供服务，此类出版机构应联系其所在国的国家ISSN中心；若所在国暂无国家ISSN中心，则直接联系ISSN国际中心。出版物的出版地决定了负责识别工作的ISSN中心归属，但若出版机构在多国开展业务，可与涉及的ISSN中心达成协议，由单一中心统一处理所有识别申请。以下列表收录了300余家跨国出版机构，其信息均取自ISSN门户网站（https://portal.issn.org）公开数据。ISSN国际中心与国家中心协作，依托该出版机构列表明确各中心对上述出版机构出版物的识别职责。该列表同时包含这些出版机构的通用名称信息、出版机构间的关联映射关系，还提供了指向国际标准名称标识符（ISNI, International Standard Name Identifier）与虚拟国际权威文件（VIAF, Virtual International Authority File）数据库的链接——上述出版机构的相关信息也已收录于这两个数据库中。本数据集由ISSN网络通过内部维基平台进行管理，并将定期更新。ISSN网络将该列表开放给出版界与图书馆员使用，相关方可联系ISSN国际中心提交对该列表的反馈意见（包括新增、修改、删除内容），相关更新将按季度发布。
